Two Babies and a Business Founder Christina Pilarski Named Top Entrepreneur to Look Out For

Christina Pilarski, the dynamic leader of CIPR Communications based in Calgary, received a major recognition from the Entrepreneur Herald. Pilarski was named to their Top 30 Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2022 list.

The Entrepreneur Herald, a digital publication focused on connecting leaders and innovators from across the globe, highlights the stories and ideas of the world’s best and brightest entrepreneurs and creates opportunities for meaningful conversations that help to educate and motivate its readership. They believe entrepreneurs are crucial in today’s interconnected world for sparking real change across different sectors. In the announcement, they pointed out, “Entrepreneurship is key to pushing industries forward, making the world a better place for innovation and growth in specific fields.”

Christina shared her excitement about the honor, saying, “It’s a huge honor to be recognized among such amazing entrepreneurs. With the help of my incredible team, I look forward to continuing to challenge the status quo and drive innovation in marketing and communications.”

Christina’s experience in the industry is built on a strong educational background with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Communications Studies from the University of Calgary. Her thesis was a deep dive into how social media can influence policy change—a topic that has become incredibly relevant since she started CIPR Communications in 2010 and went full-time in 2015.

2021 was tough for a lot of small businesses, but thanks to Christina’s business savvy and deep understanding of the industry, plus her partner (both in business and life) Peter Pilarski’s vision, CIPR Communications had its most profitable year ever, growing by over 55%. Since then, the company has experienced continued growth by supporting clients from a wide range of industries and facilitating fascinating conversations through the Two Babies and a Business podcast.

“Taking risks comes with the territory, but the rewards are worth it,” said Christina. I’m excited about continuing our meaningful work and building lasting relationships with our amazing clients in North America and around the world in the years to come. The future looks bright!”
